Hi! I’m Jay
I created this site to “pull back the curtain” and take away the mystery of standardized test prep.
That’s what I do. I am an educator. I have always felt that, no matter what the subject or topic, my role as an educator is to take away the confusion, distill the information into something easily grasped, and present it in a way that everyone can understand. Much of life is very confusing and sometimes overwhelming – my goal is to help you step back and see the “Big Picture”. Understand how to get from “here” to “there”. Lay out a game plan & a timetable. Eliminate distractions & gain laser-like focus.
There’s no magic to successfully preparing for a standardized test. And, contrary to what some tutoring companies may tell you, there are no expensive “secrets” to learn either. Good test prep is really pretty straightforward, and easy to achieve with the proper mindset.
We all know that tests can be scary, especially standardized tests with “alphabet soup” names (SAT, ACT, GED, GRE, ASVAB, PRAXIS, etc.). But if you want to get into college or a graduate school, or if you want to advance your career, it is virtually certain that you will HAVE to take one (or more) of these tests.
With this site, I want to help you succeed with your standardized tests. I want to:
What’s in it for me?
Growing up, I was taught about the importance of giving back to the community. We are all here on earth because we have something to share, and this is how I share. I am always happy to help, because it’s just the right thing to do.
